Is laser spider vein removal painful?
Since spider veins are small and close to the skin's surface, they are most easily treated by light-based treatments like that of a laser, which focuses a strong beam of light on the veins, causing them to clot and dry up.
Can spider veins be removed permanently?
Sclerotherapy is often not a one and done treatment. Usually, people need a series of treatments, spaced a few weeks to a few months apart, before they see the full results they are after. While the treatment does permanently remove the effected veins, it is possible for new spider veins to develop over time.
